Alan Miller, CEO and chairman of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services, and four other UHS executives are reaping the rewards of a strong 2011 fiscal year, as the UHS compensation committee authorized payment of annual incentive bonuses last month, according to documents from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The article on Becker’s Hospital Review lists the following bonuses:

  • Alan Miller, CEO and chairman: $2.72 million (194% of his 2011 base salary)
  • Mark Miller, President of UHS and son of Alan Miller: $703,035
  • Debra Osteen, Senior Vice President: $521,082
  • Steve Filton, CFO: $456,887
  • Richard Wright, Vice President of Development: $61,447

UHS’ profits for 2011 were $398.2 million on $7.5 billion of revenue, far exceeding 2010 profits of $230.2 million on $5.57 billion in revenue. Within the next month, it is expected that UHS will release final executive compensation figures in a separate proxy disclosure.
